This vehicle came to us for an oil and filter change. Once the engine undertray was removed to gain access to the oil drain plug, this evidence of a coolant leak was glaringly obvious. The leak appeared to be coming from behind the timing belt covers. This could be caused by a leaking water pump or core plug. The coolant level was checked and topped up accordingly and the customer was informed of the leak. The vehicle was still under manufactures warranty therefore it was recommended the customer took the vehicle to the main dealer. Checking your oil, coolant, brake fluid and power steering fluid levels are important checks which should be carried out regularly between services. If you’re not sure, pop in and ask one of the team if they can be checked for you, they would be more than happy to help. We carry out Class 4 MOTs, servicing and repairs to all makes of car.
